Still working on the beastly WIP “Christmas magic”. Happy to say that it is progressing really well so far but saving pictures for the SAL update!!!
And have started getting everything together for the new piece I’m planning on starting sometime soon.
It is massive and I’m in love with it. Can’t wait to start it…

Ok so I’m a little excited about this SAL. I have been looking for one for a while that interested me but I’m not usually interested in stitching the design they choose, and it’s not as captivating when everyone is stitching the same thing so this one is fantastic!!!!
The piece I have chosen to join in with is “Christmas Magic” from Artecy. I couldn’t resist stitching this design the minute I saw it.

Almost half way through page 2 and I can’t wait to start the next set of pages to see the design start to come to life. The complete pattern is 18 pages so I still have quite a way to go.

A bit about me. You can find some more in-depth info in the profile section for the blog… in a nutshell I have many different crafts that I work on and seem to rotate through depending on my mood and the time of year. Everything from sewing, painting, drawing, etc.. but one of the constant things that I keep coming back to is cross stitch. My grandmother, mother, and sisters are all stitchers as well. ( so you better make sure the back of your work is tidy because the first thing they will do is turn it over to have a look) 😜.
I have spent the last 5.5 years working with embroidery machines for a promotional company. Recently I decided it was time for a change and I am currently working for a hotel. This also gives me more time to stitch because I can take it to work with me😁.

So I haven’t posted since 2015. There also hasn’t been much progress on “Christmas magic” either. Between life and other obligations I’ve had very little time for stitching and I have to say it has been missed. So on that note here we go again.
Christmas magic… take two… I have officially made it to the second page and my reservations about the colours and how well the patterns were converted have been totally washed away. I’m excited to get to some of the brighter reds and other colours so here we go!!!
