Sal update.

Ahhhhh!!!!! This stitcher needs a break!!! Lol.

So as you’re all aware I lost my little girl taz a little while ago like I posted about before.

Then I get a call about a new job that I’ve been trying to get for a while now and the company is finally ready to open. So I got the job and put in my notice at my current job and finished up there. Then I get another phone call stating that construction is delayed so now I will be off for another 10 days.  It sure if I should take it as a blessing or a curse.

On top of all that it may be time to find a new place to live which means moving again. Anyone who knows me will know that I don’t handle change well at all.

I haven’t made much progress and so I have jumped to the end of the current row I’m working on just to avoid the massive amounts of color changes and work on another section that doesn’t require as much concentration lol.

You guys have been so supportive in both the loss of my beloved pet and keeping me motivated. I missed my rounds last update with everything going on. So I just wanted to say thank you to everyone it doesn’t go unnoticed at all.

It’s Thanksgiving weekend here so whoever you all are I hope you’re well fed, comfortable, relaxed, and loved.

Everyone taking the time to read this really needs to go and check out the other pages in this incredible group of fiber artists there are some amazing works going on and getting close to completion.

Happy stitching everyone!!!

  1. Excellent plan- sometimes you just need to stitch something easy! Good luck with everything, I’m sure it’ll be worth it in the end! (And congrats on the new job!!!!)

Hope everything comes together for you. I can relate about needing something besides confetti stitching when lots is happening. Looks great.

  5. Good luck with the move. A bit of “mindless” stitching is good for now. Thank you in advance for adding the links to the rest of the group.

Timothy, there’s some great progress showing, despite all your chaos! Hope you can use your unexpected down time as a blessing, and have an opportunity to relax a bit, and contemplate those big decisions on the horizon. Maybe a good clean out in preparation for a possible move or the holidays?😉 And of course, some lengthy stitching sessions to help you relax and unwind before the new job starts!
