Hey everyone, time for another stitchy update. And I’m so happy with this one.
I’ve been a busy little stitcher the last couple weeks. Here’s where I picked up from after the last update:
Getting closer…
And finally after a couple hours of stitching confetti…
A page finish!!!! Woot woot!!!
I’m so excited to finally have found the corner of his storybook!!!
I had someone ask me earlier this week about the scissors I use and realized I haven’t shared it here so…
I swear these are the best scissors I have ever used. Incredibly sharp. (I drilled a small hole in the handle to hold the charms) 😜 they are made by Fiskars. They also make the small collapsable ones so if you’re afraid of the sharp tips on these there’s another option.
I also use a larger version of these for cutting fabric when sewing. They are spring loaded so help with your hands getting tired when cutting large pieces.
That’s my little rant for this update. Time for my shameless puppy plug…
In between bouts of rain we still managed to get out for a little walk this morning.
Head over and check out the other fabulous artists involved in the SAL. All amazing people and are working on some great projects.
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose, Christina,
you’re bombing along!

Wow, that is a great page finish! Does this also have back stitching? That puppy is getting HUGE! He fits his feet now.😉

Oh thank god no it doesn’t have any back stitching 😜. That’s what I love about Artecy and HAED they are full coverage pieces so all full crosses no specialty stitches and no backstiching.

That’s a ton of progress this time! It’s looking fantastic. Are you hoping to finish it by Christmas? Such a handsome pup you have there 🙂

I hoping to have it done in the next couple months which will give me time to frame it properly. I can’t wait to see it framed. So far I will be the first to finish it and it will be used as the display picture for the chart by Artecy, plus if your the first to have your piece feature you get you choice of pattern. I know a few other people are also working on it so it’s a race to the finish now🤪

Such a fast stitcher! How do you stitch? Two handed? Great progress 😄

I used to stitch two-handed on a floor stand but I prefer to have the hoop in hand so I use snaps now. I just have a lot of time on my hands😜

What a handsome puppy! Not only is he/she bigger than the last time I saw him/her, it looks to me like the markings are darker. Oh yes, nice progress on your stitching too. 😉
